Will you travel to me?
Yes, for groups of over three people including the bride, I will travel to your chosen venue on the wedding day to get you and your team ready. The trial however, will be held at my Bacup salon, By Kaylee.
What if I want makeup for less than 3 people?
If you would like me to travel to your venue there is a 3 person minimum, or minimum cost of £260 for me to travel out to you, even if there are fewer people.
If you are happy to come to the salon to get ready in the morning I can provide a quote for fewer than 3 people.
Will you work alongside another makeup artist?
Yes! I am happy to work alongside another makeup artist for larger wedding parties, and sometimes recommend it.
If you have another makeup artist for the bride I can create a personalised quote that doesn’t include the bridal trial if needed (minimum cost may apply) – just pop your requirements into the comments on your enquiry form.
Can I get Bridal makeup without a trial?
If you are booking the bridal package unfortunately I can’t offer this without a trial. The trial makes sure that the wedding day makeup goes efficiently, quickly and stress-free for both you and me, it really is essential for communicating and understanding each others style and expectations before we have the added time limits and pressures of the actual wedding day.
What do I need to provide on the wedding day?
The only thing I need is a little space to set up, with a table and a plug socket. If you have space near a window or with plenty of natural light that’s great, but not essential. Ill bring lighting and a chair with me, along with my makeup kit, skincare and other essentials.
Can you use some of my own makeup?
Of course! I do have a full makeup kit with plenty of on-trend and staple products, and I carry a small selection of carefully chosen skincare to cover a wide range of skin types – these are products that I work with constantly and have been chosen specifically because I love them. But I know we all have our go-to favourites, so I’m more than happy to work with any of your own products.
I’m allergic to certain products, can I still have my makeup done?
Short answer, yes. But we will need to discuss this properly and make sure we are using safe products at your trial. Alternatively we can use your own products that you know are safe. If you have a known allergy please do let me know on your enquiry form so I we can discuss your particular situation.
If you use my makeup will it be cheaper?
Unfortunately not, no. The price of the service covers a wide range of costs, including my time, training and knowledge. The products used are only a fraction of the costs that are covered in the price.
Do you offer payment plans?
Sort of! – At the time of booking, a deposit is required to secure your date, this is approximately 30% of the total cost. At the trial a further £50 is payable to cover that appointment, and the remainder is due any time up to the day before the wedding (not the day of), so you can split the final payment any way you like.

Policies
Securing Your Date – The date of your wedding or event will not be secured until the deposit has been paid in full.
Final Payment – The final payment is due no later than one day prior to the wedding date. We don’t need to be thinking about payments on your wedding day!
Deposits – Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days prior to a wedding or group booking.
Cancellations made within the 14 day period may result in part or all of the deposit being lost, covering the cost of the losses incurred by By Kaylee, where we are unable to re-sell your appointment.
Min/Max numbers – The minimum number for people for a wedding or group booking where I am required to travel to your location is 3 adults.
Groups or weddings with less than 3 adults will be charged the minimum fee equivalent to 3 adults.
The maximum number of people I am able to service in one booking is 6.
Travel – Travel for up to 5 miles and/or 15 minutes from my Bacup salon is included for no extra cost. Above 5 miles is charged per mile, and a basic hourly rate is charged for time spent travelling to and from your venue, after the first 15 minutes of travel.
Photos and Videos
I may sometimes take photographs and/or record video, before, during or after any treatment or event that I am hired for, I will always ask your permission where possible before taking any photographs or recording video and you are not obliged to allow it.
In most cases, where your face or facial features are shown, I will also show you the client, any images, video, edits or clips before using your image publicly, and request further written consent before I do so, however in some rare cases it may not be possible and the photograph or an edited image, clip or video may still be used. Clients will never be named or ‘tagged’ without written consent.
Possible uses for images and/or video recorded during a treatment may include but are not limited to:
– Blog posts on my website at ByKaylee.uk or thelittletrainingsalon.com
– Public posts on social media profiles including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Pinterest, under one or more of the following usernames bykaylee.uk, bridalbykaylee.uk, trainingbykaylee.uk or thelittletrainingsalon
– Gallery of work on my website at ByKaylee.uk or thelittletrainingsalon.com, in print, or online business directories.
– Use in advertisements or promotional material for the purpose of selling or promoting my treatments and services or training courses, i.e. sponsored posts on social media including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest. Paid advertisements online or in print.
– Business-use printed items such as leaflets, gift vouchers, treatment lists, business cards etc.
– Private training purposes for paying students or staff members.
