Understanding the balance of your face is the starting point for blush and contour placement decisions.
Hold your hand horizontally, fingers together. Place your fingers over each zone one at a time, checking how many fingers fit top to bottom.
Zone 1: Measure from the hairline to the brow bone - just below the brows.
Zone 2: From the brow bone to the base of the nose
Zone 3: Measure under the nose to the chin
Which zone or zones are noticeably longer? Tick all that apply.
Look straight into the mirror to assess width. Compare the widest point of each zone side to side, just by eye. Are any zones noticably wider?
Zone 1: Check the forehead at the temples, just below the hairline.
Zone 2: Check the width of the face at the cheekbones - the widest point of your midface.
Zone 3: Check the width of the jaw at its widest point.
